Bee's Knees

Bee's Knees soap is one of my soaps in which I let the ingredients speak for themselves rather than adding any scent. The first step in making the soap is to make a jug of freshly squeezed carrot juice from organic carrots. The carrot juice not only provides a rich orange colour but is also rich in vitamin A, the B vitamins and minerals. The second step is to open a jar of local Ontario honey. Honey is soothing and healing to the skin. Without any added fragrance, this soap has a very light sweet scent due to the carrots and honey. I find it reminiscent of freshly baked goods.

HONEY is a humectant, naturally drawing moisture from the air to your skin. Its natural antioxidants neutralize free radicals which can damage the skin, allowing the cells to regenerate. As an antibacterial and anti-fungal agent, it helps disinfect and speed the healing process of skin injuries.

coconut oil, olive oil, caster oil, rice bran oil, sweet almond oil, lye, freshly squeezed organic carrot juice, local Ontario honey.
