Detox Ambassador - Toronto

Job Description

The Detox Ambassador is first of all an educator. His/Her goal is to empower our customers to make the right decisions. The Detox Ambassadors are responsible for providing incredible customer service.

Responsible for assisting customers: 

• Welcome all customers and manage customer experience at an exceptional standard
• Provide customers with in-depth knowledge of products, brand philosophy, ingredients, how to use, how to pair with other products, etc.
• Recommend all wellness and beauty products (skincare, supplements, makeup, as well as colour matching, etc.)
• Process cash payments as well as debit and credit
• Answer inquiries, phone calls, and emails, as needed

Store upkeep (cleanliness) and merchandising:

• Receive product inventory and occasionally pack orders
• Manage in-store inventory levels and restocking

• Responsible for upkeep of products, product displays, and overall store appearance

‪Requirements:

• Background in customer service and sales, background in cosmetics and skincare is a plus  
• Genuine interest in natural beauty and healthy living; excited to keep up with industry trends
• Knowledge, passion, and interest in brands sold at The Detox Market
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, able to meet and interact with people and demonstrate an enthusiastic and positive attitude
• High energy, professional, reliable, enthusiastic and confident
• Must be a self-starter and a team player! This is a small team - we need someone who takes initiative and enjoys working with a group in a fast-paced environment
• Proactive problem solver and highly organized
• Strong time management and attention to detail
• Interested in growth within a start-up company
• Willing to learn Shopify
• Must be available weekends

Must be available to work on weekends.
